At Nutright, we are telling you what it is that you need to know.
Silly Myths About Women Working Out
You Eat Too Fast
Research proves that it takes the stomach 20 minutes to tell the brain that it has had enough to eat which means that it takes 20 or more minutes for the brain to process and tell us to stop eating. So, all the while you are stuffing yourself with food thinking that you are hungry your body has already had enough and now you are simply putting in excess fat in your system. People who eat slowly gain less weight as compared to those who eat rapidly as fast eaters are basically overloading themselves with food.
You Have Too Much Variety
Science tells us the human body is a complex structure but it is also very simple. When we Pakistanis eat, we fill ourselves like a garbage can, throwing in everything at the dinner table from fettucine to chikar choley, from mash ki daal to nihari and siri paye, especially with the Eid season coming. Our stomach can take only one food group at a time and process it, when we throw in the entire menu in one go, our stomach simply can’t make sense of it and cannot process it efficiently and it turns into fat or you get constipated. The best way out is to keep the menu simple and not eat the entire buffet.
You Drink Soda
Cold drinks are like cancer to the body, well that’s an exaggeration but Cold drinks are bad and what makes their effect worse is when we combine our meal with a drink like having Lays and Pepsi together. Ever notice that you feel hungrier when you’re eating your food with a drink. You feel hungrier, you consume more food. The more excess food in the body, more the fat and more the weight. Sodas themselves are sugar so you have an entire serving of all that’s crap.
You Take Stress
You’re dieting, you’re exercising, you’re sleeping right; you’re doing everything right but the pounds still aren’t going down. The reason; maybe you’re not letting off steam. Stress makes all the chemicals in our system go crazy. The cortisol levels go skyrocketing, hormones go hdujdhdujdj (I know that’s not a word) and they stimulate hunger and cravings, and cravings for food that help reduce the feelings of frustration and these foods are basically unhealthy sugars, fats, and carbs.
You Don’t Take The Right Tea
We Pakistanis love tea, don’t we? Hell, even little kids like tea nowadays. It’s ridiculous! Now, what does this tea have? Sugar? Processed powdered milk? Processed tea leaves? Everything that has zero nutritional value and its addictive. How is that good for your health and for your weight? Everything that goes into you is crap and crap turns into fat. It’ all natural. The best option is to shift from your tea to green tea. Green tea boosts the metabolism and stimulates active digestion of food and helps expel excess material like salts and wastes from your system. So why not give it a try?
