Weight loss is always difficult as it requires a lot of discipline and elevated levels of motivation. Of course, driving all the way to the gym after giving breakfast to your sasu maa and the entire family, is an arduous task. And then where are we going to get the motivation after a tiring day to go to the gym or to the park for the job?
To your greatest surprise, there are ways by which you can lose weight quickly and it doesn’t require regular gym or exercise.
1. Move More:
The first thing that will help you greatly and is important is to “move a little more”. You could start by taking small breaks and take a round of your office. Or to the bahus taking care of the house, you could take the bucket of washed clothes yourself outside to spread them on the line (if it’s not too heavy). Or park your car farther away in the parking lot which would increase your chances of walking a little more.
2. Drinking Calories Is A Big “NO”:
I understand there is this sudden urge of having coffee or tea or carbonated drinks during your work timings. Instead of having those high-cal drinks, increase your intake of green tea and use brown sugar (if you find it difficult to get anything without sugar down your throat).
3. Detox Water:
Now, this may sound absurd and might not even be pleasant to your taste buds, but trust me this has advantages beyond what you can imagine. Detox water is basically water which has citrus fruits or mint leaves (such as oranges, lemons, and cucumbers) in it. This not only good for burning fats but also gives you a glow and fresher skin. Keeps you dehydrated, helps in digestion and keeps your intestines clean.
4. Have An Early Dinner:
It is vital to have an early dinner and then not eat anything at midnight. You will have to control your midnight cravings for a while. Early dinner helps you maintain your fast of at least 12 to 16 hours. This is called intermittent fasting, which has proven to be successful for fat burning.
5. Maintain A Healthy Sleep:
It’s important that you sleep seven to nine hours of sleep at night so that you wake up in the morning with the energy which will help you achieve you set goals of working out.
6. Timely Meals:
The biggest problem Pakistanis have is eating just because it looks and smells good. You people need to put reins on your cravings and control them. The key to weight loss is timely snacks. Eat only when you are hungry. Do not keep yourself hungry for a long time.
You can also prep your food at home which is energy rich and low-cal for work.
